It’s a big day! In my last blog post, I showed you all of MY versions of the Home Street Quilt - but today I get to take a moment to show you all of the pattern tester quilts!
You can find the PDF pattern here and the paper pattern here!
Every time I release a new pattern into the wild, I love being able to show off the pattern tester versions. This talented group of humans generously gives their time behind the scenes to ensure my pattern is the best it can be before officially releasing. I feel extremely grateful to work with such amazing people - it’s always one of my favourite parts of the pattern design process!
Now, let's take a look at their beautiful Home Street quilts!
Liz of @foreveryoungquilting
I’m obsessed with the retro vibe Liz created with her quilt using these throwback colours! I never would have been brave enough to try these colours together myself, which is one of the beautiful advantages of pattern testers!
Katie of @crestview.quilts
Katie doesn’t do scrappy often, but I am SO happy she did for Home Street! She used the Little Camper Bundle from Tree House Quilting Co. If you know me, you know that I love anything outdoorsy...so, her choice of fabrics was very exciting for me!
Lydia of @llquiltco
Lydia chose the most beautiful autumn tones for her Home Street Quilt! I also love that she made it a little scrappy. If you need confirmation that this pattern is a fast finish, Lydia was able to make the full twin size quilt top in one weekend!
Summer of @squats_and_runningstitches
Look at Summer’s geometric Home Street masterpiece! Her Instagram followers voted for her to use this colourway and I’d say her followers know their stuff!
She used Kona cotton in Black, Spruce (one of my top faves as well), Enchanted and Leather. The striped fabric is from Joann Fabrics.
Claire of @madejustsew
Claire made this adorable wall hanging for her daughter’s room and doesn’t it look perfect in there!? These colours just look so sweet together.
Claire also sells quilts, patterns and more so be sure to check her shop out here!
Jaimie of @jaimiequilts
Oh. Em. Gee. When I first saw Jaimie’s version, I could have cried! I am so head over heels for these colours. She’s planning on adding some fun colour to the walls of her sewing room with this wall hanging!
Jennifer of @jeniferdyck
Jennifer is a WIZARD when it comes to scrappy, and she did not disappoint with Home Street! She used the most fun fabrics from Moda and Art Gallery Fabrics. She also proved that her point matching skills are...on point!
Anna of @TheHackneyQuilter
As a consistent TBS pattern tester, I always get excited to see what Anna will create! For Home Street, she made this gorgeous fall-feeling wall hanging...isn’t it so pretty?! Make sure to also visit her online fabric store, where she actually has a Landmark Quilt Kit available!
An of @corvilady
An is a fellow lover of colour palettes, so I am always eager to see what she chooses for her quilts! I love that she went with calming purples, greens and blues for Home Street. It’s so soft and pretty!
If you are also into palettes, R users can check out An’s package of palettes inspired by California ecosystems here!
Bhiravi of @strawberrycreekquilts
This is Bhiravi’s second time testing a TBS pattern! She went with these gorgeous blue tones for her Home Street Quilt - and I must say, I love a monochromatic quilt!
On top of being a quilter, Bhiravi is also a sewist, pattern designer and maker of unique things! You can check out her creations here!
Amazing, right?
